An MS Glass Line Thermowell is a component used in glass-lined vessels or tanks to measure the temperature of the process fluid inside the vessel. The thermowell is made of mild steel and is coated with a layer of glass lining to provide a non-reactive and corrosion-resistant surface. The thermowell is typically installed in the vessel wall and extends into the process fluid. A temperature sensor, such as a thermocouple or RTD (resistance temperature detector), is inserted into the thermowell to measure the temperature of the fluid.
